Community Connection

As the community for your product or business grows, we can help you keep connected through emailers, in-person meetups & events, online workshops, webinars and more.
This includes email template design, writing and managing user communications, and planning and executing events.
We believe everyone has something to say, and the closest thing to knowing yourself is knowing how to write— to put your thoughts into words. We offer free community workshops, ticketed workshops with experts, and specially tailored workshops for your team or organization to have a safe place to explore writing.
We believe being in community means using our words and actions to uplift or protect those who are feeling the worst effects of imperialism, capitalism, majoritarianism, and the patriarchy. We organize film screenings and fundraising for human rights issues close to our heart, whether it be the CAA protests, or the COVID migrant crisis, or the current genocide in Palestine. We can help you organize events and run fundraisers too.
Strengthen trust and creative problem-solving through self-expression, theatre foundations, and play. We run in-person workshops tailored to the needs of your team.

Our Team

Sure, we’re great at design and creative comms, but what we’re experts at is building community.

We also look at your organization and vision as a whole and challenge you to enrich your community, whether it be through giving back, more inclusive internal mechanisms, bolder political stances, more transparent pricing, or going the extra mile for a customer.

Co-founder, Design & Brand Strategy
ndu Manohar switched from a physics major to a BA in theatre from Reed College in Portland, Oregon in 2012. She was a theatre artist, kathak performer and teacher in Bangalore for 5 years. Indu spent 3 months on the Andaman Islands as a divemaster intern to certify as a PADI Rescue diver. She pivoted to a graphic design certification from The Graphic Design School, Sydney, in 2016. Over the next 9 years, she lead design at Nyaaya.org (a initiative of Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy) and creative communications at Centre for Internet & Society and freelanced with many more non-profit and policy organizations.

Co-founder, Content & Creative Communication
Rheea Mukherjee has an MFA in creative writing from California College of the Arts, San Francisco and a bachelors degree in Social Work from Colorado State University. She is the author of The Body Myth (Unnamed Press, Los Angeles, 2019) and The Girl Who Kept Falling in Love (Penguin India, 2023). Her work has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, Buzzfeed, Scroll.in, Electric Literature among many others. Rheea co-founded Write Leela Write, a Design and Content Laboratory in 2014. She has 13+ years of experience in branding, creative communications and teaching/mentoring writers. Her background in Social Work and MFA in creative writing brings a unique perspective to her workshops as she draws from from her experiences as a counsellor, mental health advocate, writer, and a writing and communications teacher.

Founding Member, Creative Media Producer
Sahithi Sirikonda holds a master’s degree in media and communications, specializing in multimedia journalism from Christ University. She also holds a diploma in VFX and worked in the Telugu film industry as a rotoscope artist- painstakingly cutting out frames, one pixel at a time. In her media career she has worked as a sub-editor at The Hindu, as a photojournalist at The New Indian Express, as content creator for Hashtag Magazine while moonlighting as a food photographer for Indulge Magazine.
